When your mind is more powerful than you think Think yourself up to entrepreneurship
Every successful entrepreneur will also, at some point, undergo significant self-development, which also includes changing their mindset. If you haven’t reached the point where you have a mindset change to success, consider investing into yourself more through:
– Seminars
– Workshops
– Books written by successful people
Not only will it benefit your career, but also your personal beliefs, confidence, and appearance (the way you carry yourself specifically). This all is a must to become successful, constant evolvement, and upgrading your thinking to achieve results – no excuses anymore.
Excuses – everyone has them.
You’ve probably heard of all these successful people that started out in a bad environment. It’s often the people that have it the worst, that are the happiest – ever noticed that? I tell you their secret -> It’s because they create their environment first inside, then the outside follows.
Your environment needs to be nurturing; if it’s limiting, it can be detrimental. Surround yourself in an environment that will empower you, inspire you, and help hold you accountable.
Nourish your mind and body, so that you can nourish your future and environment.
Self-growth parallels staying in strong faith, meaning, if an obstacle comes your way, remain faithful that you will make through it. Further, you have to take action and surround yourself with the right people. All this doesn’t end. It’s a life long journey of self-development.
You may ask yourself what causes a breakthrough and such a change of mind.
Often, it takes time to reach such a point, because we are taught to conform. Taught to be reactionary and the typical “Do as I say, not as I do” – which we must unlearn throughout life.
Realize: you are in control of your own thoughts. Turn things around.
You are able to shift a situation by the way you think. Change your perspective and then your response to it. The more control you have over your thoughts, the more you will over your response. The more power you have over these two, the easier life will get, and the less you will be influenced by your environment, but instead, you will influence it.
You may have reached a plateau within your business, which of course, makes you worry. Anxious thoughts are crawling all over you with thoughts of “what if I won’t make it?” – so you ask yourself, how could you possibly turn this around, if things aren’t going well?
-> Your response: What if you will make it? What if things will get better and you start generating continuous profit?
Your brain will start changing its thinking pattern to a “Oh! Why didn’t I think of this? I was just thinking of the negative, but this is a likely possibility too!” As time goes on, you will less often consciously choose to think positively, but naturally do it.
Tip: Say it out loud to yourself to stop your negative thoughts. The more you think of it, the more you’re feeling it and attach yourself.
Failure is wanted.
You may be wondering what could I possibly think to say this in a blog geared towards success? But let me ask you this: would you still learn anything, if it wouldn’t be for obstacles and problems? Every successful entrepreneur will tell you, they’ve only made it due to their failures.
Each mistake, each obstacle, each problem – they worked through it and grew.
Success means risk. If you want to succeed, you need to believe in yourself and get out of your comfort zone in order to grow above yourself. It’s challenging, and it’s hard. Thoughts of giving up will cross your mind; however, that’s where you will stop yourself.
Thoughts are linked to feelings.
Your thoughts are linked to feelings. So, if you think about something long enough, it will lead to feelings. Such feelings lead hopefully to beneficial actions.
You may feel overwhelmed currently; however, start by making a shortlist and answer these questions:
– What is it that you’re doing?
– Who is it with? – environment and surroundings
– What problem do you have to solve?
You will find the answers to these questions and realize that you have one main problem, for which you can create a simple plan. What is the next step you need to take?
Taking just one step at a time will get you closer to success within your business. So, even if you take off the weekends within a year, you still have 180-220 days to prioritize your actions and take one per day.
Can you imagine the results you’d get if you did all that?
